Treadmills

Anybody know how to make a treadmill go longer than one hour? They always seem to go into "Cool down" mode at the one-hour mark. So even if I increase the speed and incline, after one minute it goes back down to a roughly 4.5 speed and 0 incline. Surely there must be a way to run on a treadmill for 2 or more hours, no?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Stay strong,
Mircea

I havent any clue. My home tready will go for 99 minutes. I usually just run a certain number of miles and then start over before it goes to cool down.

It says in your upcoming races you are running a 50. Right on!!

Thanks, Evan. I guess I'll have to start it over, as you do. But it's just nice to have the entire time on the machine without having to stop at all. I, too, found one at the gym that'll go 99 minutes, but I think it's only 2 of the 100 they have. And go figure, they're older models. What, are people become more of a wuss now than people in the past? Bogus.

I'm running 50! Yes sir! And to be honest, I'm pretty confident because I do train hard. Like you, I have slightly more time to train than most people perhaps. Being a grad student is indeed busy, but if you maintain a tight schedule, you'd be surprised at how much training you can accomplish. And, of course, I make it a priority. :-)

Thanks for stopping by as usual.
